FREE IN-HOME ESTIMATE

Broken glass compromises the security of your home and costs you more money every minute the heating or cooling unit is running.

Most companies will take from several days to weeks just to come out and look at your window. We at RWS think this is unacceptable and will have someone out to assess your glass repair needs within 48 hours, but often the same day as your call.

We offer free estimates as well as complimentary whole-home window inspections to help you fully evaluate your needs. We will measure the glass, show you how we can repair or replace it, and then give you the best price possible.

Typically, it can take up to 7-10 days from when we take your order to receive the custom fabricated unit. As soon as the glass is delivered, we inspect it for quality and then contact you to schedule the installation.

INSULATED GLASS

IG units are manufactured on a made-to-order basis. We get great pricing fron our suppliers and are able to pass that savings on to our customers. Most double-glazed units come with a manufacturer’s warranty on top of our one year workmanship warranty that we offer on all of our window repairs.

TINTED GLASS, COATED AND LOW-E GLASS

RWS-Tinted-Glass-Tulsa-WindowsClear glass was the primary glazing material used in the glass industry for decades. During the past two decades, glazing technology has changed greatly. Research and development into different types of glazing has created a new generation of glazing materials. Special tints and coatings have greatly increased energy efficiency in windows and doors. Low-E glass, or low-emission glass, is a special type of glass that has a spectrally selective coating applied to it. The thin-film coating is specifically designed to allow only certain wavelengths of the solar spectrum to pass through the glass and enter the home, while restricting others. More specifically, it prevents solar ultraviolet wavelength energy from entering the home. The ultraviolet light is what actually warms the surface of the objects that it comes in contact with. Ultraviolet light also causes furniture fabric, carpeting and wood floors to fade over time.

Low-E glass is unlike the dark-shaded glass that was produced decades ago. The energy-saving low-E glass of today has so fine a film coating on it, that it is nearly imperceptible to the naked eye. It effectively appears clear, thus not reducing the amount of natural light into your home. Moreover, today’s low-E glass film coatings are specially designed and applied so they help keep homes cooler during the summer months and warmer during the winter months. As a result, when combined with double-pane window technology, it provides the maximum in energy savings.

Whether you call us to fix windows or supply you with glass products, we strive to do it right the first time. If something ever goes wrong, we will be there to address it quickly. We want to earn your business and become the glass company you rely on for all your glass repair and replacement needs.
